Ruth's interest in hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming started when she wanted to quit smoking. After one rapidly sucessfull session she was hooked and decided to change career direction from a Theatre Practitioner and qualify as a Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, EMI and EFT Practitioner. Following the birth of her daughter it felt right to specialise in supporting fertility, pregnancy, birth and beyond and is now widely recognised for her talents.
Ruth is currently writing her first book titled "Beyond Hypnobirthing"
Mental Health Module Leader
Mia is a registered, accredited and chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience. She has a particular passion for the Psychology of Birth, and understanding how good preparation is key to a good birth. While specialising in antenatal and postnatal mental health, her skills also expand beyond into areas such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Rewind technique, and resilience training.
Mia is the bestselling author of "Why Perinatal Depression Matters".
Antenatal and Marketing Module Leader
Lizzie ran her own marketing and events agency for around 12 years, working internationally for companies such as McDonalds, Lhiost and Saab. The economic crash was the spur for Lizzie to start training as Midwife, where she discovered a passion for antenatal education, particularly the impact birth has on a mother’s mental health. Fast forward countless births, 100's parents and 10 years of research and further training, Antenatal Training UK and Birth+ were born.

BreastFeeding / IBCLC Module Leader
Isabel become a IBCLC through her own childbirth and parenting journey, which started in 2003.
Despite being a Registered Nurse, the difficulties she faced in breastfeeding her own child were not overcome by the support from midwives and health visitors. This inspired her to train in order to support parents through the challeneges that they face.
She sits on the Infant Feeding Network in University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) and the Lactation Consultants of Great Britain Committee and assists with organising the conference and study days.
